How to Use Claude Agents

Claude Agents are invoked automatically by Claude Code when appropriate tasks are detected. You can also explicitly request a specific agent by mentioning the task that matches their expertise.

Example Usage

User: "I need to add a new Enterprise pricing tier with unlimited features"
Assistant: "I'll use the ainstein-cfo agent to add the new Enterprise tier to the pricing configuration"
User: "Help me understand how authentication flows work in our application"
Assistant: "I'll use the architecture-expert agent to explain our authentication architecture and patterns"

Best Practices

  1. Let agents work autonomously - Once invoked, agents handle tasks independently
  2. Provide clear context - Give agents detailed requirements for best results
  3. Trust agent expertise - Agents follow established patterns and best practices
  4. Review agent output - While agents are highly capable, always review their work

Agent Capabilities

Each agent has access to:

  • Full codebase search and analysis tools
  • File reading and editing capabilities
  • Pattern recognition and implementation
  • Best practices for their domain
  • Integration with existing code patterns
